See me as Groucho on January 29!

If you're going to be anywhere near New York City on January 29, 2011, around 8:00 pm, and you don't have anything really important to do, you might consider paying a visit to the Bushwick Project for the Arts, 304 Meserole Street, Brooklyn (L train to Montrose), to see me as Groucho Marx in the first performance of a new show called Groucho on the Air.

Groucho on the Air recreates, before a live audience, some of the funniest radio appearances of America's greatest comedian. The January 29 performance will hopefully be the first of many to come, but for the time being, this is an experiment. I hope to see you there. Tickets are available online for $15 (or $18 at the door).

I'll be writing much more about Groucho on the Air in the weeks ahead, here at the Comedy Palace, and also at the Groucho on the Air website. In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy the show's first video trailer:

More of that soon, too. In the meantime, happy holidays, and all that.
